Footprints on the Sun: Ain’t Got No Time

Talented vocalist Annis Hassan of Footprints on the Sun envisioned a video that expressed a coping-attachment to his idealized inner self, manifested as a swaggering cowboy. Three park visits at three different times of day plus an apartment interior and exterior - as well as half a dozen live shows - gave us over 20 performances to work with. We turned a song about heartbreak and ruminating thoughts into a symbol-filled narrative about outgrowing the personified manifestation of the only thing stopping us from reaching our real-life full potential: ourselves.
